Quick Tip: Lost Article

Just a quick post to alert the Lost fans out there that there is an article in the Dec. 1st issue of Entertainment Weekly(Gwen Stefani on the cover). The article features Executive producers Carlton Cuse, Damon Lindelof, and J.J. Abram. Also included is a huge Lost fan, writer Stephen King. It's a pretty interesting article. So, check it out to help ease the drought of Lost until February.

Bonus: It's the "Inspirations Issue". You get to learn about all of the actors, writers, musicians, directors that have influenced your favorite celebrities. YAY! Or not.

Optical Illusions 2

After my first post of two optical illusions, I decided to search the web for a few more. Here are the results. None of these have anything that jumps out at you after staring at it for a certain amount of time. No worries there.

#1 makes you see a black and white picture as if it were in color.

The second one looks like it's moving, but it's not.

And finally one from YouTube. You don't really need to make this full-screen, but it may work a little better that way.

Just for some reference: The wikipedia page on optical illusions. There are a few good ones there too.

Optical Illusions?

I've got a couple of eye-screweruppers for you. I'm not really certain that they classify as an illusion, or not? But I do know that the effects are odd.

I can't remember where I found these, but they've been in my bookmarks for at least a year.

First stare at this one for about 30 seconds and then look at anything else. It'll give you a melty/swirly effect on whatever you see.

Effect #1

The second one is even more fun.

Just read the instructions and off you go. Just be warned that this one lasted on me for over a week the first time that I tried it. Attempt it at your own risk.

Effect #2

Enjoy.
