killerik - Why the hell not?

I hope that everyone out there has a great Thanksgiving(unless your Canadian, then I'm a month late). Eat lots of food ,drink lots of alcohol, watch lots of football, and punch lots of family members(screw you Uncle Mike). Today is the start of the Holidays and the start of our yearly weight gain.

So, have fun. Don't forget to get some rest in for tomorrow. You'll need it to fight off those blood-thirsty mothers trying to kill you for Black Friday deals. Remember, you saw that Nintendo Wii first. It's yours. It's also fair game to grab it out of another shopper's hands up until they make it home(Put your tracking skills to work).

I just wanted to pass along a couple music recommendations(just like the title says).

First off is one of my new favorites. It's Kidz Bop, Vol. 11.

It's just one of the most original albums that I've ever heard. I really can't even explain the greatness of this. Just pick it up, and fast.

My second recommendation is both musically brilliant and educational.

Fergie(The blond chick from Wild Orchid) is an up and comer with big things in her future. Through her music you'll learn how to spell words like "G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S", "D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S", "T-A-S-T-E-Y" and "F-E-R-G-I-E". Impress your friends with those. Also, her face looks exactly like an old catcher's mitt and she used to be a meth addict. If someone can overcome those shortfalls, then maybe, just maybe, they deserve a play in the music player of your choice.

Please don't call it "Valentimes". Whenever I hear someone call it that it grates my brain. It seriously hurts.

I remember when I was a kid and my mom would have to buy those cards to pass out to my classmates(girls only). I'd go through them all and pick out the best ones for the hottest 10 year olds(please don't call Chris Hansen with Dateline NBC, I was 10 too). No matter how awesome the cards were that I was giving out, there was always that rich bastard classmate that had the ones with heart-shaped lollipops, glow in the dark lettering, and professional calligraphy. That bastard always showed me up.

I'm not sure the routines that your schools had for Valentine's, but we would make paper bag mailboxes with our names on them. We would tape them to the front of our desks. Then everyone would get up and deliver their cards to everyone else in the class. There were always people that you left off of your card list. Some poor kids wouldn't get any, but they were the ones with super-cooties. If you were the only kid to give them a card, you'd instantly have their disease attached to you for life. No one wanted that. Well, except for the teacher. She would always have a valentine for everyone. I'm pretty sure that teachers have to immune to the cooties to get their jobs anyway.

So, this Valentine's Day, I hope that you're not the smelly, glue eating, cooties having, non-valentine getting kid.

Also, praise Hallmark! Amen.

Hope that everyone(all of you naughty nurses/cheerleaders/cats/witches/Playboy Bunnies/pregnant nuns/french maids/fairies/princesses/lingerie models/stock brokers and to all of the guys going out dressed up as anything covered in blood/pirates/priests and congressmen with little boys in tow) has a good Halloween.

I hope that your pumpkin patch is the most sincere and that you don't get a bunch of rocks.
