Eat lots of food ,drink lots of alcohol, watch lots of football, and punch lots of family members(screw you Uncle Mike). Today is the start of the Holidays and the start of our yearly weight gain.

So, have fun. Don't forget to get some rest in for tomorrow. You'll need it to fight off those blood-thirsty mothers trying to kill you for Black Friday deals. Remember, you saw that Nintendo Wii first. It's yours. It's also fair game to grab it out of another shopper's hands up until they make it home(Put your tracking skills to work).

To get you into the spirit of Thanksgiving, here's a classic clip:

I've taken a long break from writing anything new for this site. "Why"? You might be asking your computer screen... Well, it's because I'm a very, very, very lazy person. That's simple enough.

Just because I wasn't on here, writing the awesomest blog in the world, doesn't mean that I wasn't using my time to do other amazing things. Would you believe that I found the cure for blindness? I didn't, but did anyone buy it?

What I actually spent my time doing was a lot more important than that, anyway. I'll list them in order of importance:

1. Went to a bachelor party and gave money to exotic dancers.

2. Went to another bachelor party and gave more money to exotic dancers.

3. Went to one more bachelor party and gave the rest of my money to exotic dancers.

4. Went to Montreal and there may have been exotic dancers there, but I'm not allowed to tell those stories. Anywhere. Ever.

5. Went to some weddings that were associated with the bachelor parties listed above.

Seriously, I've spent way too much money on strippers. It's just so hard not to. I was already at the club for my friends' bachelor parties. Then these somewhat attractive women take all of their clothes off and the money just starts hopping straight out of my pockets. It doesn't help that I was downing about a gallon of Captain Morgan each time.

I have a very scientific eqaution to explain this whole phenomenon...

Alcohol + Boobs + Cotton Candy Body Spray = Broke

Just a tip to all the guys out there: Every stripper wears cotton candy body spray.

If you happen to get a whiff of a carnival sugar treat, run like the wind. It'll save you a lot of cash.

This summer, just about everyone that I know got married. Those who didn't had a child. I'm starting to feel very old. I don't want to feel old. So, I plead with any friends that read this to break up with your significant other and push any babies coming out of birth canals back into their moms. Stop making my years pass by faster than they need to.

Went to Montreal in July. It was a blast.

Everything was in french and there are strip clubs every two steps.

The locals were extremely nice to myself and my friends. The first thing we did when we arrived was walk the city and find a place to hang out. We ended up at Foufounes Electrique(Their site's in french. Here's the MySpace.)

Foufs houses an array of people. They range from skinheads to preps. Everyone lives in harmony there. Not only that, but the drinks can be dirt cheap. While we were there, we didn't realize how much history the place held. Some call it the Canadian CBGB. If you ever go to Montreal, ask about it.

If you do ever go, be prepared to avoid the droves of homeless people. They are on every street and they're not right in the head. Gave money to a couple. Others were really pissed when you passed them by. I guess that you have to expect that in any big city.

Another tip: To avoid a slew of homeless in Montreal, avoid church lawns. The congregate there all hours of the day and night. Just cross the street whenever you see a holy cross.

On a non-summer note...

The Red Sox won the World Series!!! Couldn't be happier.

That's pretty much everything that I've been up to. If I think anything, I'll update this.

Neither Alli(the new "FDA approved" weight-loss pill), or Jellyfish, have anything in common. Actually, they may have equal, yet opposite, reactions.

Alli is the brand new, over-the-counter version of orlistat/Xenical, which everyone seems to be talking about. It's taken to help you lose weight by blocking about a quarter of the fat that you take in. The best thing about Alli is its side effects:

One-third of Alli consumers may experience gastrointestinal problems like diarrhea, spontaneous oily discharge, flatulence with discharge and oily stool, according to the company’s studies.

Another concern: Alli blocks absorption of fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E, K and beta-carotene, which are key to many physiological functions, including energy, metabolism and immunity.

That’s why it’s recommended that Alli users also take a multivitamin with meals.

Despite this, symptoms of nutrient deprivation like fatigue, joint and muscle pain, sleeplessness, increased risk of respiratory and kidney infections, menstrual problems and vaginal inflammation were reported in trials.

This all sounds well worth it to drop an extra pound, or two. I can't wait to be running around with "oily discharge" attacking my bottom-side.

Just think about how much easier it'll be to get a date, once you start taking these pills. You'll have a top 10 conversation starter.

"Hello nice lady. How are you?"
"Oh, you enjoy cooking?"
"Well, if we happen to go back to your place, please don't cook any foods high in fat, as I may get anal leakage from the consumption of them."
"Come back, nice lady person."

Just a tip to anyone thinking about using this "medication". Don't. Talk to your doctor first and go from there. Then just read my article on how to lose weight.

My second half of this posting will deal with the shopping website Jellyfish.com.

I've been addicted to this site for the past month. This site has me checking in constantly and is disrupting my everyday life.

I can't stop checking into the live show to see what's on sale, how much I can save, or what the conversation du jour is.

How it works is you search for the product that you may be looking to buy. Then Jellyfish gives you a list of stores(which includes just about any online retailer you can think of) from which you can buy your searched product from. This list also gives you the percentage of cash back you'll get when you purchase products from said stores.

So, you get to buy what you want, and in about two months you can request a check for your cash back(as long as it's greater than $10).

But that's not even the best part.

All day, everyday, they have 24/7 Smack Shopping. Broken into a tv-like schedule, you can see what the theme of each show is and you have a chance to get even more cash back than if you were to buy these products just by searching.

The big show is their Mon-Fri @ Noon(central) Live Show with Smack Daddy(he's like a game show host). During this show you get to guess(guru guessing) what the percentage off will be for the best deal on each product offered. If you are the closest, without going over, you get a chance to spin a wheel of prizes. It's all a lot of fun, and I recommend that everyone joins up. They have a really tight community, and the deals can be extremely great(example: I'm geting $65 back from purchasing an Xbox 360 HD-DVD player during the "Gaming Show").

So, sign up and join me in the fun. My name there is "erbpro8".

It's been a good week for things that I like.

First off is the news that CBS has picked up How I Met Your Mother for its third season. This is good news because this is the best comedy on network tv, which isn't titled The Office. it would have been sad to see it go.

In more tv news...Lost has been as good as it's ever been, lately. To celebrate this I've bought the hatch action figure scene(can a hatch be considered an action figure?) from the end of season 1.

I was going to blow it up, but decided that it would be a waste of money. Maybe down the line(July 4th) we'll be seeing some fireworks stuffed inside of it. Dare to dream.

My beloved Red Sox are in first place(ahead of the most hated Yankees by 10.5 games). Now I just have to sit back and wait till we're down by 5 games in September. It's a fun, yearly ride.

The Halo 3 multiplayer beta is out in full force. I've been getting my ass beaten by 15 year olds around the world for the past few days.

There's nothing more annoying than being whacked in the back of the head by your opponent, have them teabag your corpse, and then hearing their prepubescent screaming shrilling through your fragile eardrums. I'm not even being sarcastic.

In site news...If you ever want to know what I might be up to(and who doesn't want to know where I am/what I'm doing all times of the day) check out the twitter box over to the left side of the site. You can also check out my Xbox Live gamercard on the left sidebar, as well. Fell free to friend me on Live.

How can you not love some Bruce Campbell?

That's it for my lame post of the day.

...Stop canceling decent television shows so that you can put on some crap reality show that no one really wants to see.

Seriously. Stop.

Today I'm pointing my finger at NBC.

First you put Studio 60 on "hiatus". A hiatus that it may never come back from. You hyped up the show, got myself and others interested, then pulled it out from under my eyes. The problem with the ratings could be that you put it on after Heroes and were hoping for some carry-over. Sadly, the shows are so dissimilar that there was no way that you were going to retain nearly enough viewers. One's targeted toward the Spider-man set and the other toward people that enjoyed the West Wing. There is some cross-over(example: me), but what were they thinking?

The only good thing that came from the hiatus was The Black Donnellys. The show was gritty, violent, and turning into the new Sopranos for me. Guess what? It's been pulled too. Maybe it was too bloody for network tv? If that's the case, then why even purchase the show in the first place? Hopefully this show can get picked up by another network? The aforementioned "Sopranos" is ending in a couple of months. This could be a good filler for HBO. Obvious wishful thinking. It'll never happen. Too bad, I wanted to see more Jenny Reilly and I don't like watching Dashboard Confessional videos.

Do you know what they're replacing two quality shows with? The Real Wedding Crashers! It's a show based on the hit movie, except not. In this wonderful show the bride and the groom team up to pull one over on their wedding guests. The family gets punk'd. Hilarity ensues. Good stuff.

Die NBC, Die!(which is german for "The NBC, the!")

Add on: CBS might be thinking of canceling How I Met Your Mother. Supposedly some higher ups at "the eye" don't find the humor in HIMYM. I don't see how that could be possible(see: Robin Sparkles). I've just recently found this show, and love it. One of the best comedies on tv. It's legendary.

I've been sick for around 2+ weeks. Finally, today, I think that I'm completely better(I had a false not-sick-anymore-alarm a week and a half ago).

Maybe later on I'll tell you how my friends think that I got sick. It's a good story.

I personally think that I got sick by going running in the cold while wearing shorts. Damn you fitness!

Well, I just wanted to let you all(two of you) know that I'm back and ready for some update action. This post doesn't count, but I'll throw you a video that I found over at TV Squad.

You may not want to watch it if you haven't been keeping up with Lost in the past month. It could be spoilerish.

I just wanted to pass along a couple music recommendations(just like the title says).

First off is one of my new favorites. It's Kidz Bop, Vol. 11.

It's just one of the most original albums that I've ever heard. I really can't even explain the greatness of this. Just pick it up, and fast.

You can grab it up through iTunes here:

and Amazon.com here: Kidz Bop, Vol. 11

My second recommendation is both musically brilliant and educational.

Fergie(The blond chick from Wild Orchid) is an up and comer with big things in her future. Through her music you'll learn how to spell words like "G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S", "D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S", "T-A-S-T-E-Y" and "F-E-R-G-I-E". Impress your friends with those. Also, her face looks exactly like an old catcher's mitt and she used to be a meth addict. If someone can overcome those shortfalls, then maybe, just maybe, they deserve a play in the music player of your choice.

Fergie - The Dutchess
iTunes:
